[ooc] AT2 terminologies and all that jazz
Apr. 22nd, 2009 01:10 amThe Ar Tonelico world has weird terminologies and stuff so as promised in my stats post, here are the explainations of the terms and stuff taken from the in-game terminology list of both AT1 and AT2 to be semi-indepth and because there's a sort of cultural difference between the Wings of Horus and Metafalss regions. Also as a warning, since I typed/copied this down directly from the game, there's probably typos courtesy of me or the dodgy grammar stuff courtesy of GUST itself because apparently the translation team forgot to proofread or something lol 8’( I whited out spoilers and blue text are my own clarifications/comments.

The music in Ar Tonelico series is awesome so even if you don't want to play our canon, at least try our music. They're all in the game's Hymmnos language which is like...some weird bastard child of Japanese, Latin and Arabic that sounds strangely cool. I've placed (*) next to the songs I particularly recommend even if I actually like nearly all of them 8'( If you're curious for the meanings of the Hymmnos in the songs, just click on the song names in the tracklisting to go to the lyrics translations but I warn in advance that some of the songs' hymmnos lyrics have SPOILERS in them if you're ever planning to play the game. If you'd like any of the songs individually or would like Ar Tonelico 1's Hymmnos, feel free to leave me a comment somewhere ♥
